The Wolfville Seniors Afternoon Out Program offers an enriched experience for seniors in the Wolfville area to gather in an attractive, supervised and friendly environment and spend time engaged in a social afternoon with their peers.
The program operates Tuesday and Thursday afternoons each week, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is staffed by Program Coordinators from AVH Seniors LINCS and Wickwire Place - Assisted Living Residence. It is supported by the Eastern Kings Community Health Centre Foundation.
The program is held at Wickwire Place Assisted Living Residence at 30 Wickwire Ave in Wolfville.
The Program is designed to provide social, mental, and physical stimulation for older members of the community who may be experiencing social isolation or whose family caregivers may be in need of respite assistance.
