The Grand Pré and Area Community Association is supporting a permanent Photographic Record for Grand Pré!
On Heritage Day, Monday February 20th, come see progress to date and sign up for YOUR treasures - e.g., postcards, photos - old and not so old - places and people- to be included in the shared photographic record.
Grand Pré is full of archaeological, historic sites and stories. The Grand Pré Area is Canada's 1st National Historic District; the Landscape of Grand Pré is nominated for UNESCO World Heritage status. Yet the Heritage Society has been inactive since May 2010, so should the Society fold into Wolfville or Kings Historical Societies? Should it regroup? Come learn the status of the UNESCO Nomination bid and give your opinion on the future of the Heritage Society at a community consultation event.
