Valley Community Learning Association is hosting a coffee house, in between Family and Children Services and the Police Station.

Since November 2011, local author and VCLA family facilitator, Sophie Bérubé, has been leading creative writing workshops with clients from Open Arms - a shelter for people in distress.

This coffee house will showcase the work created in these workshops. Come and enjoy an evening of poetry, stories, songs & artwork created by the Open Arms community and members of the Annapolis Valley First Nations with music by Ron Edmunds.

Free will donations, proceeds go to Open Arms Drop-In Center.

This project was made possible through the support of the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage.
