The 6th annual King’s Shorts Festival of Ten Minute Plays will take place at King’s Theatre on June 15th, 16th and 17th and promises to be one of the best so far. This year there were 53 plays submitted and the reading committee had a very difficult time to get it down to the eight which were chosen for production. The plays selected are:
Apple of My Eye, Written by Rich Rubin, Directed by Courtney Zwicker. Cast: Jacob Morrison, Teri Boates.
The Ashes, Written by Sue Higgs, Directed by Sherry Caldwell. Cast: Amanda York, Caitlin Bridson-Pateman, Hayley MacIntyre, Dylan Robbins.
A Business Arrangement, Written by Janet Godsell, Directed by Veralea Ellis, Cast: Colleen Rowland, Robert McCarthy.
The Chair, Written by Charles Salmon, Directed by Dale Shaw. Cast: Simon Bonnington, Heather Lueck
Friends in High Places, Written by Rachele Cooper Directed by Janet Swansberg. Cast: Ina Wells, Evan Dares.
Man in the Middle, Written by Eloise MurrayDirected by Kamile Langstaff. Cast: Scott McQuillin, Karen Tomasino, Ashlea Viola.
Meeting the Neighbors, Rae Winkelaar, Directed by Doug Glenen. Cast: John Coker, Liz Rhymer, Eloise Mailman.
Woof, Written by Kent Thompson, Directed by Brenda Thompson. Cast: Wayne Currie, Dave York.
