Poet, essayist, critic and editor of Signal Editions (Véhicule Press), Carmine Starnino has published four critically-acclaimed books of poetry: The New World (1997); Credo (2000) won the Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry and the David McKeen Award; With English Subtitles (2004) won the A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry; and his latest, This Way Out (2009), was nominated for the Governor General’s Award.
