The Sunset Ceremony is a combination of three distinct ceremonies that are part of Canada's military history: Beating the Retreat, Tattoo, and Sunset. Join the 14 Wing Brass and Reed, and Pipes and Drums along with the Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, Bridgewater Fire Dept Band, 1st Btln Nova Scotia Highlanders, 12 Wing Shearwater Pipes and Drums, RCMP Pipes and Drums, RCMP Highland Dancers, the drill team of the 78th Highlanders (Halifax Citadel), and watch flypasts and demonstrations by 405 Sqn and 413 Sqn.
Event takes place on the Main Parade Square, limited seating so bring your chair and enjoy a fantastic evening of military music and displays. Both the event and parking is free and open to all members of the public.
