The fight for Glass-Steagall, currently underway in Washington, D.C., represents more than a proposal for mere banking reform. Rather, this is a battle to bankrupt Wall St. and the City of London. But, what comes next?
The absolute necessity for banking separation is becoming increasingly obvious as the global situation continues to worsen at an accelerating rate, and a return to Glass-Steagall is the model for accomplishing such a goal. What is not generally understood, however, is that success in this means a complete break with the current global system. What, then, must replace it, if humanity is to survive into the long-term future?
On Wednesday, Meredith Hayes, on behalf of the Committee for the Republic of Canada, will present a class covering the principles underlying the American Credit System--the only Constitutional economic system of the United States, and the only system capable of saving the people of that or any other country, from the doom that awaits us all if the currently reigning global policy is allowed to continue much longer.
