Ethical Dilemmas in Synthetic Biology: a presentation by Annapolis Valley Quakers
In 2012 The Canadian Council of Churches invited comment on their endorsement of The Principles for the Oversight of Synthetic Biology.
These principles embody the precautionary principle well, but the Canadian Friends Service Committee felt that spiritual aspects of the concern needed to be more thoughtfully considered. The Annapolis Valley Quakers feel this is an important issue that the public, particularly the faith based communities should be aware of and engaged in: we invite you share in a thoughtful learning experience with us.
