Sunday November 17, 2013  1pm - 4pm (3 Hours)
Gallery / Exhibit

Inspired by the work of our gallery artist, Chris Boyne, we are exploring the world of sail and boats, and discovering the history of sail through art! You can make your own boat, learn sailing songs and semaphore, with much more! We'll begin with a treasure map and set you on a Ross Creek journey, and for the adults, there's our new sound walk, designed by Artist in residence Kay Burns! Bring your IPhone or Android and walking shoes and come prepared for adventure! Chris Boyne will also be in attendance, giving tours of his work in the gallery.

At 2 pm, Award-winning author Pamela Hickman will be reading from her books and playing seashore games.

Plus our very own Ross Creek Lego Robotics team, the Flying Manatees, will be doing a demonstration of their project during the event in preparation for their competition!

Cream Tea
This month, our cream tea is inspired by the ocean! We have invigorated the fancy afternoon tea at Ross Creek! Come enjoy freshly baked items, and assorted delicious treats, beginning at 1:00 pm.

Don't be disappointed, sign up now to ensure your space!
