Featured Artists:

HOME TOWN FAVORITE - KEVIN DAVISON

With a career as a paramedic and firefighter in his small hometown of KENTVILLE, Kevin has dedicated his life to helping others and always has possessed a tremendous passion for music. Kevin released his debut album "Just The Beginning" in 2009 with his first single "Bring it Here to Me" hitting the airwaves on radio stations across the country in regular rotation. In April 2011, Kevin released his second single to radio, hitting #82 on the media base charts.

June, 2010, kicked off Kevin’s live performance career opening for country music legends "Little Texas". The same year saw Kevin taking the stage with Jason Blaine, Chrystal Shewanda, Doc Walker, Gord Bamford and Paul Brandt at the first annual Ridgefest in Nova Scotia’s beautiful Annapolis Valley. Kevin opened for Dr Hook in Fredericton, New Brunswick the following year and also headlined the Fredericton Playhouse for a magical night of music.

Response to Kevin’s music resulted in him receiving an East Coast Music Association Award (ECMA) nomination for “Country Recording of the Year” in 2011, selected as Spincount “ECMA Artist of the Week” in July of that same year, and was “Indie Rows Artist of the Month” though Sounds Canadian.

CD's and music can be purchased on line on CD baby, itunes, Napster, as well as other on line stores.

BRANDON DAVIS -

Growing up with a musical family, Brandon was destined to catch the “bug” of music at a young age. With his young, ambitious drive, and his original music being compared to John Mayer and Ray Lamontagne it's no surprise that he has already played numerous venues – RockBottom BrewPub, Michael's Bar & Grill, Montes Showbar Grill, The Westin, Bearly's House of Blues, Humani-T Cafe, Spatz Theatre, Hydrostone Cafe, Starbucks, The Travellers Club, The Split Crow – just to name a few. In addition to his live performances, Brandon was featured on Halifax Plugged In 12, and shared the stage at Riverfest with countless industry pros and up and coming acts!

Brandon released his debut EP, “You Don't Love Me Like You Love Him” in July 2013, which was featured as Download of the Week by Music NS, and is currently recording a full length acoustic album which should be dropping in early 2014 - and he's only 17!!!

JEN MILLER -

Originally from Nova Scotia, Jen has called Vancouver her home for the past 8 years. Growing up in a very musical family it only seemed natural that she would develop a passion for it herself. Singing along with her dad and participating in talent shows in school Jen dreamed of being a singer when she grew up. At the age of 14 she learned her first 3 guitar chords and wrote her very first song. And it didn't stop there. Jen decided at the age of 24 to move to the west coast of Canada for a change of scenery. It was then that her music evolved and she began playing shows all over Vancouver. She picked up the mandolin and the cajon while living there as well.

While living there she has released her Debut album 'You And I' and is now on the road touring eastern Canada to share it with her family and friends. After playing on the Via Rail across the country she has played in venues in Toronto, PEI, Halifax and even the NFLD ferry. Halifax is keeping her longer then she thought and she plans to play music for the next few months in the Maritimes. Going where the wind takes her and doing what she loves!
