The Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia invites you to a free workshop, based on the 2012 Edition of the Screening Handbook produced by Volunteer Canada on behalf of Public Safety Canada. The handbook may be downloaded from Volunteer Canada’s website: https://volunteer.ca/content/screening
The 10-step process described in the workshop will help to ensure that volunteers’ involvement is meeting the needs of the organizations, the people served, and the volunteers themselves. Learn to implement this comprehensive system, which starts before volunteers begin and ends after their service is complete.
