Pollinator Project
Saturday May 10, 2014  1pm - 4pm (3 Hours)
Workshop / Class

 902 542-5760

Kids aged 10 and up can help create a new pollinator garden next to the library! Participants will learn about why pollinators are so important to our lives and how we can promote and support pollination in our own backyards. We will create a plan for a pollinator-friendly garden, and participants will produce a large poster of the garden design for display in the library. On May 31, participants will join gardening community members to plant our garden! No gardening experience needed, and participants are welcome to come to the planning workshop even if they are unable to attend the planting. Look for more Pollinator Project activities in June and July! This project is possible through generous support from TD Friends of the Environment Fund.
