After a terrible accident sky diving in Arizona on April 6th, Kenzie Markey, a local Annapolis Valley girl suffered serious life threatening injuries. After being in critical condition in hospital in the US and multiple surgeries to treat the broken femur, pelvis, foot, elbow, rib and fractured eye socket, skull and collapsed lung; the healthcare costs are high. With no insurance coverage for the medical bills in the US the family is finding it hard to cope. With medical bills over $500,000, we are joining together to help. We are a group of her friends who are deeply concerned with helping her and her family at this time.
A silent auction, live music by Eight Nickles and High Tide, and great food, we will raise money to help Kenzie Markey and her family deal with the massive medical bills! 100% of all money raised will be deposited into an account at The Greenwood Credit Union in her family’s name.
