with Bob Snider, Brent Mason, Tom Gallant.

Singer-songwriter Bob Snider has played on the street and in the concert hall. He’s been called a “national treasure”, a “living legend” and “author of some of the best Canadian songs of the decade”.
Bob’s songs have been covered by a who’s who of Canadian musicians including Ashley MacIsaac, Meryn Cadell and the Leslie Spit Tree-O. His earlier recordings include two cassettes, “Live at the Free Times Cafe” and “You” and two CDs, “Caterwaul and Doggerel” and “Words and Pictures”. “Poetreason”, a Bob Snider tribute concert recording dating back to 1996, includes performances by the likes of The Barenaked Ladies, Change of Heart and Moxy Fruvous, to name a few.
Bob is an exceptional live performer with his warmth and wit putting just the right off-beat spin on his live shows.
Nominated in two East Coast Music Awards categories: Male Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year for “Darn Folksinger.”
Juno nominee for Best Roots/Traditional Album 1997

Since the release of his first album HEAD FOR THE HIGH GROUND in 1992, Brent Mason has established himself as one of the most prolific and literate songwriters in the Atlantic region. In October 2008 Brent released his 7th album - BOTH KINDS OF MUSIC - to base of fans who have enthusiastically embraced this new song collection as possibly his best yet.

Brent comes by his reputation as a tenacious writer and performer honestly. He has played over 100 shows a year for the past decade, touring the region as a solo act as well as with his band. His music has taken him to the UK for three tours, south of the border to Oklahoma and Missouri, as well as to Ontario and Alberta. During the course of his career he’s been fortunate to share stages with a veritable who’s who of Canadian acoustic music - Murray Mclaughlin, Valdy, Barenaked Ladies, Matt Minglewood, Laura Smith, Bob Snider and Lennie Gallant to name but a few.

In 2001 he was nominated for an ECMA as solo Roots artist of the year. In 2007 he was honoured with the Stompin’ Tom Award for his contributions to the Atlantic Music scene. Over the past few years Brent has devoted much of his energy to his solo show and now has developed it to a point where he can perform in almost any context - small venue, club, soft seater or festival stage and come away knowing he’s reached new fans with his music. He’s become especially experienced in the songwriter circle format, where his wit and charm help create an excellent chemistry on stage.

Never idle, with wide ranging interests and enthusiasms, Tom Gallant has produced a large volume of quality work in all mediums. This work is marked by a willingness to take chances, tempered by an understanding of what it means to communicate to an audience. The absence of public accomplishment in the eighties and early nineties is explained by Gallant’s fifty thousand miles of deep water sailing in his Nova Scotian schooner. As well as his work as a writer, he is a singer-songwriter of national reputation in Canada, an actor/director who’s work has been well reviewed in both theatre and film. He work is marked by one unifying principle… that love abides through all the hypocrisy, greed and foolishness, and that it is in simplicity, humility, and empathy that true greatness resides. He also keeps close to his heart, his Uncle Walter’s saying… “Anything in life that ain’t a mystery, is sheer guesswork.”
