Peer Counselling training for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
In September 2014, S.O.A.R. is offering a free peer counselling training for male and female adult (18 or over) survivors of childhood sexual abuse who have progressed sufficiently in their recovery that they feel able to assist others in healing.
There will be 18 three-hour sessions through the Fall, one evening per week and one or two Saturdays.
Deadline to apply is August 20. Interviews will be at Chipman Building, Kentville, but we may also interview in other areas or by phone if there is demand.
