With a songbird voice and a wry wit, emerging singer-songwriter Sarah Beatty is full of surprises. Deftly occupying the space between blues, jazz, country, and soulful styled roots music, her music shines brightly with dynamic vocals, imaginative lyrics, and sing-song melodies. She's a versatile performer and can carry a groove like Jack Johnson or Danny Michel, tap into an interconnected quirkiness akin to Regina Spektor, and simultaneously summon the ache of Billie Holiday. She takes audiences to other worlds, and brings them back home slack-jawed and cheering for more.
Shawn Clarke is a folk singer/ songwriter from Toronto Ontario. As a songwriter, his goal has been to simplify music and melodies, bringing the subjects of his lyrics to the foreground. Although sometimes subtly, his influences include Tom Waits, Bright Eyes, Wilco, and Martin Tielli to name a few. In addition to his solo work, Shawn has contributed to the Gypsy-folk collective Olenka and the Autumn Lovers, and gothic blues act Timber Timbre.
