Popular speaker Ed Sulis returns to talk about the state of electricity in our province. Ed will focus on three key topic areas:
Common electrical talk/terms for home electricity consumers, as a base for discussion.
Power generation: sources (in order of CO2 emissions), developments within Nova Scotia and Canada, Atlantic interconnections, and the Nova Scotia smart grid - is it smart enough?
Climate change: the reality of climate change, and a range of practical energy conservation projects for our homes.
This event is offered by Acadia Lifelong Learning, but staff, faculty, students, and community members are welcome. If you are a community member and enjoy the Brown Bag Lunch series, we encourage you to consider joining ALL.
