Residents of Brooklyn, Annapolis County, just outside of Middleton, are holding an information rally at the corner of Commercial and Marshall St. in Middleton to raise awareness of Nova Scotia Environment's failure to use available scientific data in deciding whether or not a 3.99 Ha quarry can be permitted there. Scientific studies predict loss of water to homes and farms in the area.
