An audio-visual presentation by Dr. Mike J. Dadswell, Acadia University (ret): "SORRY VIRGINIA, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 'FISH-FRIENDLY' HYDROELECTRIC TURBINE".
Dr. Dadswell has had extensive experience researching the nature of vertical axis turbines and the impact on fish populations. The proposed Halcyon tidal power project in Scots Bay makes a claim that they have "fish-friendly" turbines they will use in their barrage across Scots Bay. Come out to hear the science on this.
