Event in Room: 242
In this week's Acadia Lifelong Learning Brown Bag Lunch, Ed Sulis returns to discuss the state of affairs of electricity generation and consumption in Nova Scotia. We'll begin with an overview of current electricity sources and their downsides, including pollution of arctic areas. Ed will then focus on how conservation and the increased adoption of technologies like heat pumps may be the most effective and cost-effective way to address several of the issues we face.
This is a free event open to community members, staff, students, and faculty in addition to our ALL membership. If you are a community member and enjoy the Brown Bag Lunch series, we encourage you to consider becoming an ALL member.
