In this week's Acadia Lifelong Learning Brown Bag Lunch, we're joined by Marilyn Cameron of "No Farms No Food":

"Kings County is drafting a new Municipal Planning Strategy and is making several changes to the zones that protect agricultural land. Marilyn Cameron of "No Farms No Food" joins us to bring forward concerns with some of these proposed changes. The goal of this presentation is to help educate others about some of these concerns and to encourage discussion. By being better informed, we can make better decisions: those who value our democratic processes can, and should, share their opinions. Marilyn hopes that some of you will be inspired to send your feedback to Planning Staff at Kings County about these proposed changes."

This free event is offered by Acadia Lifelong Learning. If you enjoy the Brown Bag Lunch series, we encourage you to consider becoming an ALL member.
