Many of us dream of the day we leave the corporate 'rat race' to travel across the country and launch an awesome startup. For Charlotte & Isak, this dream came true.
After spending a year tenting across Canada, they launched PACTA - a software product that allows their customers to proactively manage multi-faceted contractual agreements faster and cheaper, all while reducing their compliance risk.
In this Mashup Lab Lightning Talk, Charlotte & Isak will talk about what the first year of their 'startup life' has been like. They will share the story of what led them to leave their successful corporate careers to launch a startup business ... and how they, as two non-technical co-founders, got this tech startup off the ground!
We will be meeting at the The Rural Innovation Centre this month. This amazing startup space provides incubation services for resident companies and a wide variety of business support services to companies throughout Western NS. Currently they have five resident companies, three institutes and Innovacorp in their space.
Pie r Squared, a home-based bakery located in Wolfville, will be joining us this month for a tasty sampling. They take the wonderfully healthy, great tasting, locally grown, Valley meats and produce and create mouth-watering savoury pies and quiches.
