Marlene has been designing Mi’kmaq Traditional and Contemporary Porcupine Quill Work for over 25 years. Learn what inspires her when she designs and creates Porcupine Quill Baskets, Jewelry. She will also explain the tools that is used, the process, the different techniques and the dying of the quills. She will have an opportunity for the visitors to engage in some of the techniques.
