Authors N. Pheonix Bowman and Nicholas Morine will join us for a discussion and signing of their novels.
Bowman, author of "Outer Worlders", "... has travelled the world, but lives in the area where she grew up, the Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia. As a child, she resided on a family farm where she rode ponies, drew portraits, and enjoyed many backyard games of basketball. When not writing, she reads, watches movies, and figures out ways to avoid doing the dishes."
"Outer Worlders" is a young adult fantasy novel that is set between Kentville and an alternate dimension. It follows a group of teens on an adventure based in Mi'Kmaq folklore and a mash up of fairytale traditions from around the world.
Nicholas Morine, author of "Punish the Wicked", is described as "...a Nova Scotian who pretends to be a Newfoundlander when no one is looking."
"Punish the Wicked" is a dystopian horror novel set in Old Russia.
