Chérie Zinck and Peter Booth star as rival detectives in Any Number Can Die, a fast-paced spoof on 1920s murder mysteries, complete with sliding panels and robed figures. A cryptic poem, a missing fortune and spooky servants add to this ingenious mystery.

It is a dark and stormy night. Well, it has to be, doesn’t it? After old Cedric Russell dies on his private island, his two nieces, socialite Celia Lathrop and the beautiful young Sally VanViller, come to the island mansion for the reading of the will by Russell's lawyer. Also present are Celia’s ne’er-do-well husband, plus Sally's two handsome suitors and her aunt Ernestine. Then, at the height of the storm, a mystery guest appears. The will is read at midnight. The first murder is discovered… As the events unfold, people aren't always who they say they are, and appearances deceive.

A comedy-mystery in three acts, Any Number Can Die is written by Fred Carmichael and directed by Rose Meagher. On stage, several CentreStage favourites and a few new actors will entertain you. It stars Cherie Zinck, Peter Booth, Candy O’Brien, Ryan Trimper, Lauren Berlemont, Cam Hancock, Janest Westaver, Sean Lombard, Robert Racine, and Regis Irvine. Behind the scenes, Ernest Zinck is on lights, Tim Hawkins is on sound, and Tim Hawkins and Rose Meagher are stage managing.
