Colours to Dye For! Fabric Dying Workshop with Pat Loucks:
In this workshop you will learn a simple and easy "dye run" technique for fabric that will allow you to create a palette of up to 27 beautiful colours. You will complete a collection of fabric samples and be able to re-create your results at home. Your unique collection of fabrics can be used to make quilts and other fabric artwork, clothing, household linens, whatever your creative mind can dream up!
About the Artist: Pat Loucks is a textile artist, a graduate of NSCAD, and has worked in a variety of forms including shibori, weaving, felting, screenprinting, resist dyeing, embroidery, quilting. In addition to her studio work, Pat works with schools to bring arts programs to elementary and high school students.
