Careforce, KINGS Physiotherapy, and Family 1st Medical are proud to announce the 2nd Courageous Caregivers Conference.
This year, our conference agenda will include an opening keynote by Dr. Janice Keefe-Professor and Director, Nova Scotia Centre on Aging and the Lea Isabel Jodrey Chair in Gerontology. Our morning sessions will include: Falls Prevention at Home and in the Community; Medications to Treat the Symptoms of Dementia; and Managing Caregiver Stress. In the afternoon, topics will include Home Safety with Dementia/Cognitive Impairments; Managing the Financial Pressures of Caregiving; and Managing the Symptoms of Dementia. We will end the day with a heartfelt closing keynote address by a caregiver. Pre-registration is required-you can do so online using the web link provided or by phone at 902-365-3155.
