Marie Armstrong, quilter. Marie lives in Burlington, Kings County, N.S. She began quilting in 1980 and made several full sized hand quilted quilts. She also made quilts which she had machine quilted, many of which were sold at fairs and outlets. More recently she has been concentrating on baby quilts, wall hangings and art quilts.
She also makes various fabric crafts as well as antique jewelry crafts, specializing in Christmas trees!
Come and enjoy a cup of North Mountain roasted coffee and a freshly baked sweet. Wander through our historic church and enjoy our “re-purposed church pew” shelves featuring some of the finest North Mountain and Valley artists and artisans.
