Ensemble Atlantica is an eclectic group of young aspiring musicians with goals of pursuing careers in the performing arts. Jossée MacInnis and Pascal Bard founded the ensemble in hopes of fulfilling a creative calling as well as giving young composers an outlet to experiment. The name Ensemble Atlantica originated from the artist’s roots to the Maritimes, calling Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick their homes.
Ensemble Atlantica believes in promoting new music in an accessible way for all audiences, giving those the opportunity to experience such a unique instrumentation as well as reaching out to communities.
The program will consist of all original compositions by various young maritime composers, and feature the talent of both performers and composers. Ensemble Atlantica welcomes you to enjoy the music with us and support maritime and canadian art!
