12pm: Presentation of the André D. Cormier Certificate recipient (under tent)
Each year, this certificate honours a person or a group who made an exceptional contribution to the development and longevity of Grand-Pré National Historic Site.

12pm : Kiosks open (in the gardens)
Come discover local products, foods and organizations at the bazaar!

12pm: Reading of Évangéline (children’s version) with storyteller Anne LeBlanc (inside church)

12h30pm: Traditional Hay Barge demonstration with Austin Saulnier (beside path between welcome centre and gardens)
Come enjoy the demonstration of this lost art -- hay barges are an important aspect of Acadian heritage. Will last all afternoon, so feel free to come and go as you please.

12:30pm: Art workshop for all ages with Acadian artist François Gaudet (in a kiosk on site)
François will guide all participants in the creation of their very own unique masterpiece.

12:30pm: The Land Puppet Show (in welcome centre theatre)
The land is a twenty-minute bilingual theatre performance for the whole family, which includes puppetry! It’s the story of Rita, the muskrat, and Charles, the seagull, a couple married for many moons. They crossed the ocean and adapted to new territories. The tide that rises will change their lives, but the future remains resilient. Charles sees life from the sky, while Rita sees it from the ground. Both will follow a different path, but will stay connected by the land that greeted them. The sea is the memory of their love.
Length: 20 minutes

1pm: The Land activities for children (in a kiosk on site)
The actors from the puppet show will play games and make art in between shows.

1pm: Show by the honoured community with musicians Sébastien Dol and Carmen d’Entremont from Unisson, accompagnied by André Muise (under tent)

1pm: Stories for children with storyteller Anne LeBlanc, in English and French (inside church)
Anne will read from her children’s book “ABC Acadie” and present her original paintings from the book.

1pm: Domaine de Grand-Pré wine tour and tasting (8$/person, 19+ only)
Meeting place: welcome centre desk

1:30pm: Activities with Parka (in the gardens)
Parka, the Parks Canada beaver, will be around for songs, dances and games! There will also be an opportunity for photos.

1:50pm: Show by the honoured community with young musicians Aca-Jam (under tent)

2pm: The Landscapes of Grand-Pré book launch by the Grand Pré Trails Society (in welcome centre gallery)
The authors will be present to talk about the book and sign copies.

2:10pm: Show by honoured community with Patrice Boulianne (Blou) and Claire Boulianne (under tent)

2:30pm: Activities with Parka (in the gardens)
Parka, the Parks Canada beaver, will be around for songs, dances and games! There will also be an opportunity for photos.

3pm: Presentation on the Grand-Pré National Historic Site with Claude Degrace (inside church)
3pm: French presentation
3:30pm: English presentation
Come learn about the history of the site and its universal importance for the Acadian people.
