Cadets from Greenwood Cadet Training Center will hold a charity car wash. The cost for a car wash is by donation with proceeds going to Soldier On, a program by the Canadian Armed Forces that helps support veterans and currently serving members overcome physical or mental health illness through physical activity and sport.
The car wash is hosted by cadets attending the two-week General Training Course at the Greenwood Cadet Training Centre. This is a course that introduces young air cadets to the summer opportunities available to them while reinforcing key Cadet Program principles such as community service and citizenship.
