Linda Moore’s long-awaited sequel to her first mystery novel Foul Deeds, The Fundy Vault is another highly engaging mix of art and environmental justice.
The criminologist Rosalind is on her first paid vacation while working as a researcher for the Public Prosecution service. “Roz” and her cat arrive at a rented cottage on Nova Scotia’s beautiful Minas Basin where she plans to enjoy a much-needed break and indulge in her other career in the theatre. Early her first morning, she spies floating on the waters of the outgoing tide, a distant broken tree. Tangled into its roots she believes she sees a woman’s body. A shocking development soon finds Roz and her longtime theatre pal Sophie scouring the valley back-roads for clues.

Box of Delights Bookshop from Wolfville will be on hand to sell copies of the novel.
Linda Moore is a long-time summer resident of Kingsport. Moore was artistic director of Neptune Theatre in Halifax from 1990 to 2000, and she has worked at many theatres across Canada.
