It takes a community to make a cookbook! Conceived in Berwick, designed in Gaspereau, printed in Kentville, launched in Wolfville and sold all over Nova Scotia, this beloved book might take the prize for most local and collaborative publication in the Annapolis Valley today. Celebrate the success of The Union Street Cafe Cookbook with its creators Jenny Osburn and Laura MacDonald (Deep Hollow Print Letterpress & Design). Enjoy samples of delicious Valley food prepared by Jenny (thanks to Holmestead Cheese and Meadowbrook Meat Market!) and wine generously provided by Gaspereau Vineyards. Foreword to the Cookbook by Chef Michael Smith, who says "You'll taste a generation of memories and feel the energy of a kitchen connected to time and place." Mollie Katzen of Moosewood Cookbook fame says: "Such a refreshing, original take on cooking!" What say you? Get your hunger over to the bookshop on November 4th and tell us how great you feel after sampling Jenny's delicious creations and hearing how the book came together.
