The Hippies Who Meant It - Author Reading
Saturday December 10, 2016  12pm
Literary

In this novel by Seymour Hamilton, you'll travel back to the 1960s to North Mountain, Nova Scotia and meet a group of hippies who went back to the land. Seymour Hamilton now lives in Chelsea, Quebec, but during the 1960's he taught at Acadia University in Wolfville. His story is about those who went searching for peace, love and happiness, and in particular a few who found all three. He says he hopes his blend of memories, facts, and imaginings do them justice, because he envied them back then, and still does.
