Join Everyday Citizenship to discuss with Kelly Radcliffe, Manager of the Wolfville Farmers’ Market; Richard Hennigar, President; and Jayn Kenny, Board Member, on the role of social entrepreneurship in growing and developing the local economy. We will discuss the role of community-based enterprises, buying (and eating!) local, as well as community development.
Everyday Citizenship: Common Politics in Wolfville is a community discussion series organized by Acadia’s Social and Political Thought program, hosted by the Box of Delights Bookstore. Each month, we invite a different speaker to present on their work and ideas. This speaker series features exceptional residents of Wolfville and the greater Annapolis Valley, each with a unique perspective on what it means to live here, why their vision is worth sharing, and how we can make a real difference within our community.
