Welcome Ambassador Training at NSCC Campus

What is it?
• 12-hour training program in creating inclusive, diverse and welcoming communities for all
Commitment - Ambassadors required to
• Attend all 4 training sessions
• Perform 2 Welcome Ambassador actions/activities following the training
• Follow the principles of diversity, inclusion, and equity
Who is it for?
• Students, faculty, staff, community members and anyone interested in increasing their cultural humility to support more inclusive, diverse and welcoming communities.
Benefits to Participants
• Develop knowledge and awareness about new Nova Scotians from Syria and elsewhere
• Learn skills in creating inclusive, diverse and welcoming communities
• Connect and network with other Welcome Ambassadors
• Participate actively in making Nova Scotia a more inclusive, diverse and welcoming province

Tuesday January 24th, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Tuesday February 7th, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Tuesday February 21st, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
