Every person has the potential to offer something great to their community and to the world, which is why it’s so important to not let bullying and the stigma surrounding mental illness prevent them from making a positive contribution.

You are invited to attend our 1st Annual Country Music Benefit Concert for No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society. The concert is a fantastic opportunity for artists, businesses, corporations, and all community members to come together and make a difference.

The “No Time for That” Tour, presented by No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society (registered Canadian charity), began in November 2012 when founder, Elsie Morden, started visiting local schools free of charge during her senior year of high school. A victim of severe bullying herself, Elsie, who lives with depression and an anxiety disorder, tells her stories and experiences, and performs songs that she has written, which all relate to bullying, mental health awareness, and how to overcome tough times. It is so important to love yourself, focus on the positive and what makes you happy, and not let people or things bring you down. Elsie and "No Time for That" Tour hope to share their messages of empathy and empowerment with as many youth as possible to prevent and stop bullying, and tackle the stigma surrounding mental illness, while also encouraging youth to follow their dreams, make positive life choices, and respect, support, love, and care for each other.

So far, Elsie Morden and “No Time for That” Tour have visited 500 schools across Canada. There is still no cost charged to schools, as we do not want costs to be a barrier for any student to see this powerful presentation. All proceeds from this benefit concert will ensure that the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society’s “No Time for That” Tour can continue to visit Canadian schools free of charge.

The unique and intimate evening of celebration will highlight the importance of what the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society does and showcase the amazing and overwhelming response that the charity has received so far. Some of Atlantic Canada’s award winning songwriters will provide the night’s entertainment, including Nova Scotia country artist Elsie Morden, the charity’s founder. We are also thrilled to have performances by multi-award winning JD Clarke, Kevin Davison, Jason Price, Tj King (2016 Country Recording of the Year Winner – Music Nova Scotia), and Tyler Deveau Music (2016 Country Artist of the Year – Music New Brunswick).

There will be appetizers, a silent auction, a live auction, raffle prizes, a music trivia contest by voice impressionist/musician Kenny Byrka and many other fabulous fundraising opportunities.

We are currently seeking special sponsors to be a part of these events. We would like to personally invite you to make a difference and help the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society continue to change the lives of Canadian youth.
