Our third last paint out of the season.
Plein Air Art Annapolis Valley group meets at the Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Café in Bear River. A popular, mutually-supportive group critique is available to those interested, to close the event. Bring a picnic lunch if you like.
Our paint-out is open to artists and art lovers of all levels. We have had other creatives (photographers, writers) join us as we paint and sketch. They, too, are welcome.
This site features buildings, homes, shorelines of the Bear River. Last year we had a wonderful time at the Sissibboo Coffee Roaster Café. This year will be great.
Artist Flora Doehler [http://floradoehler.ca/]: "I'd suggest that people park behind the Legion at the waterfront, or on the main street, because that's where the water views are and people won't have to drag their equipment down hills. I'm thinking people might want to paint the river? The other parking option is at the firehall. There is LOADS of parking and it has a bit of a lawn and the best view of the back of the stilts buildings."
