Each person is multi-faceted. Some of those facets, we seldom share, perhaps because people seldom ask to see that side. Today I will share my journey to becoming an artist. I know that I am on the right pathway when I become enlivened by the pursuit of a good painting. Let me tell you how I began, where I have been, and where I want to go into the future as an artist. I will share some of my work and tell you some of my challenges as an artist. I look forward to answering your questions. Who knows... maybe you will join me on an artist's journey.

Jean Leung makes her home in Grand Pre, Nova Scotia. She paints using the difficult medium of watercolor. She is inspired by the beauty of field, forest, and family. She has explored Black River Lake for the last 40 years by canoe and many of her painting reflect this unique viewpoint. Jean has exhibited her paintings in more than 20 group shows and 10 solo shows.
