Black Rock/ Canada Creek community are hosting an "Earth Day" cleanup as part of the Great NS Pick-me-up program.
The event will start off at 10 am from the Black Rock Culture and Recreation Hall. The plan is to clean at least 3 of the communities 4 beaches and then return to the hall between 12-12:30pm for "hot washup", snacks and discuss items found for recording of data, which has been requested by the province to track ocean debris.
This is meant to be a community/ family outing and anyone is welcome to participate.
