CentreStage Theatre presents: Agatha Christie’s Mousetrap
Murder stalks a guest house. Who is next?
When Mollie and Giles Ralston convert Monkswell Manor into a hotel, a winter storm leaves them snowbound with their four guests and a stranded motorist. Then Detective Sergeant Trotter arrives on skis, warning them that a murderer is on the way to the hotel. Events take a nasty turn, and soon it becomes clear that everyone has something to hide.
If you have lived through a Nova Scotia blizzard – a harsh winter’s night with the lines down – The Mousetrap will chill your spine in a special way….
A murder mystery in two acts, The Mousetrap is directed by Wayne and Linda Marriott. Onstage are Nicole Myra and Brian Smit as the Ralstons, and Tim Hughes as Detective Sergeant Trotter. You’ll see other familiar and new faces, too including Tim Hawkins, Leigh Gibson-Johnston, Brian Cottam, Colleen Hagen and Paul Abela. Behind the scenes, Louise Hamilton is on lights, Lana Churchill has created the costumes, and Elva Kelley and Kelly Westhaver are stage managing. The Mousetrap is produced by George Henry.
The show opens on Thursday, January 7th (pay what you can) and continues playing on Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm from January 8th to February 13th. There will be a 2pm matinee on Sunday, January 31st.
