Boulder Publications is pleased to announce the public book launch with Nova Scotian author Allison Lawlor and her latest project, “A Royal Couple in Canada.”
Lawlor spent more than a year combing the various archives to choose this collection of wonderful photos, tour details and memorabilia from the Queen and Prince Philip’s 22 tours of Canada undertaken during her reign. Divided by decade starting in the 1950s, this collection offers a unique view representing every province and territory. From a fashion and Canadian history perspective, it is a fascinating review; and for some, no doubt reminiscent as many readers may recall their own Royal Tour experiences.
