If you want to be amazed, suprised or just plain entertained our Friday night Main Stage show is for you. Kaia Kater will kick things off with her unique blend of traditional Appalacian banjo and lyrics reflecting very real and current issues. Next up is Corin Raymond a Canadian troubadour who is as famous for his wonderful stories as he is for his unique songwriting abilities. We are very pleased to be able to invite Juno and Grammy award winning Alex Cuba to Wolfville to share his latin influenced style. Alex Cuba's performance has been made possible in part by the Atlantic Presenters Association (APA) and RADARTS Canada 150 Performance Series. The Deep Roots Music Festival would also like to acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada.

After a brief intermission the show will continue with a Deep Roots Music Festival favourite, Jonathan Byrd and the Pickup Cowboy. To end the evening and perhaps prepare you for our late night dance at the Farmers' Market will be the Yves lambert Trio. Yves Lambert was a founding member of La Bottine Souriante and figures among the most influential players of Quebec trad. Yves Lambert’s charisma and talent, coupled with Tommy Gauthier and Olivier Rondeau’s virtuosity and passion, the nuances of their arrangements and their distinct harmony make this trio a one-of-a-kind musical experience.

$35 plus HST and service fees. 3 and 4 day passes are available.
