7 Session Carving Course with Brian Atyeo and Carver Dick VenderEyk
THE EVANGELINE ARTIST'S' COOPERATIVE Offers a second 7 week course in wood carving by an exceptional wood carver. The course begins Saturday, February 6, 2010 and runs each of the following Saturdays with the exception of Saturday, March 13 and 20. In the event of cancellation because of snow, the snow date will be Saturday, April 10. No previous experience required and wood will be provided. A list of suggested tools will be provided. The course will be held at the Grand Pre National Historic Site of Canada. The instructor, Dick VanderEyk has studied with master carver of Bali, Indonesia, and has been influenced by his exposure to the cultures of many countries where he has lived and worked. He has been a carving instructor in Nanaimo, BC and in Grand Pre.

THE EVANGELINE ARTIST'S' COOPERATIVE offers an exciting opportunity to have a hands on workshop with master painter, Brian Atyeo. He is an elected member of the Canadian Painters in Watercolor. He has exhibited his work all across Canada and the United States. His work is in the collections of more than 40 corporate or Government Collections. The two day workshop will be held on March 13, 14, 2010. In the event of winter storms, the snow date is set for March 20. No previous experience required. A list of suggested materials will be provided. The workshop is held at the Grand Pre National Historic Site of Canada
