The Union Street is pleased to announce that the BIG COUNTRY RAMBLERS will be taking over the Big Valley Hullabaloo! The Ramblers are made up of a semi-revolving cast of the best bluegrass and old timey acoustic musicians currently in Halifax.Their long-running 'Big Country' Sunday night residency at Gus' Pub in the city's North End is the stuff of legend, and in fact, was the blueprint for our Big Valley Hullabaloo concept. They've appeared at festivals including Full Circle and In The Dead of Winter, and have hosted numerous bluegrass brunches, jamborees and shindigs around the HRM. This will mark a very rare Valley appearance by the band, and it is sure to be a special evening of music and entertainment! Alright!
***If you sing or pick bluegrass, old-timey or classic country music, please bring yourself and your instrument along and join the band for a number or two!***
And what would a Big Country show be without pie?
There will be a pie raffle! Alright!
And maybe the best part...
