Have you ever wanted to fly in first-class and stay in luxury hotels? Surprisingly, our banks have unintentionally created a system in which almost anyone can travel the world in luxury on a shoestring budget. I will show you how to use the magic of points and miles to go on your dream vacation, all for a fraction of the cost that it would take to travel in economy. The best part is that travel hacking is readily available to virtually anyone with a little time and effort. For those who prefer to travel economy, I will also share some related strategies for stretching your hard earned dollars.

Presenter: John Murimboh
John Murimboh’s latest passion is travel hacking using points and miles. In less than one year he collected over 600,000 miles and points which he redeemed for two business class tickets and two, one-week hotel rooms at a 4 star hotel in Bali and one week at a 4 star hotel in Hawaii. John Murimboh is an Associate Professor in the Chemistry Department at Acadia University. He received his PhD in chemistry from Carleton University and his BScH in chemistry from McMaster University. Having learned to save money and never go into debt from his parents, he always enjoys making the most out of a limited budget.
