The Planter Studies Centre of Acadia University presents: The Fifth International Conference on the New England Planters: “The Next Generation”
June 17-20th 2010 @ Acadia University
2010 marks the 250th Anniversary of the arrival of the Planters.
The conference is open to the public. On site for the duration of the conference: a re-creation of an 18th century Planters settlement by the Atlantic Living Heritage Association, a exhibit of Planter-related archival materials at the Acadia Art Gallery, an Ancestor Registry and community-related historical displays.
