Kent Monkman is a Canadian artist of Cree ancestry. His art exhibit "Shame and Prejudice : A Story of Resilience", was featured at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. His work is known for provocative reinterpretations of romantic North American landscapes, explores themes of colonization, sexuality, loss, and resilience - the complexities of historic and contemporary Indigenous experience. Tony Orlando will share and discuss photos taken at the exhibit. Due to mature content, this program is intended for an adult audience.
