(Wolfville, NS) – Anyone interested in the history of arts and culture in the Annapolis Valley is invited to attend a free workshop on Wednesday, August 27 from 9-12 am. The workshop will take place at Acadia University, Room 132, Beveridge Arts Centre.

The workshop will review the stories of some of these early cultural contributors, and discuss methods of ensuring that all communities in the Valley have the opportunity to be represented in future research. All forms of arts and crafts will be considered.

The project, “Scratching The Surface” is a collaborative effort by the Alliance of Kings Artists, Acadia University Art Gallery, and the Annapolis Community Regional Arts Council. It is supported by the Nova Scotia department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage, the County of Kings, and Transcontinental Publishers.
