The guest speaker will be Dr. Paul Manning, Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University, who will speak about tips and tricks for promoting and appreciating garden insects, including a basic look at insect diversity, and some of the best practices for encouraging interesting insects in the garden. He will also cover practical resources for identification, do some myth-busting, and talk about some of the unusual behaviours and life-cycles that can be appreciated with a bit of careful observation. Bring any insects or photos of insects that you want identified! Everyone is welcome.
